Today, I just want to speak life into you. Whoever you are listening, maybe you just found this podcast today. Well, I'm going to speak some life into you today. Whether you've been listening for the past six plus years, I'm going to speak life into you today because I believe you're out there. I believe that there's especially women. I know I have some male listeners as well. But to you ladies out there, I know that there are some of you sitting out there today that have been holding yourself back. You've been feeling a little insecure about things. You've been unsure what direction you're taking your business. Maybe you're even in the idea stage and you haven't started, or you're starting now, or you've been in business for seven or eight years, and you feel a shift because of AI, because of everything going on. And you're just sitting there, maybe at your desk or at home, or just walking around thinking about this in the back of your mind: like, should I do this? How am I going to do this? And I want to talk to you just for a minute today. You know who you are. You've been watching all the other business owners out there, whether they're service providers or they've got a mobile business or actual retail store, they're online or on YouTube, or they have a podcast like this, or, you know, you've been watching. And you see their businesses. They look like they're doing amazing. They're selling tons of stuff. Maybe they're selling courses or programs or tons of products all the time. Maybe they have a huge following. Maybe they have a beautiful

The Comparison Trap And Fear

website and branding, and you feel a little, shall I say, jealous. I'm speaking to you, the person out there that feels unsure of herself. And maybe somewhere along the way, you decided that maybe there's no room for you in this whole game of business. Is this you? Like, you're like, where do I fit in? Where is my spot? Maybe you've thought you're too late to the game. Or you're just too ordinary. Or you're behind. Like you feel like you don't know enough, or like AI is just going so fast by you. Or you're not special enough to be chosen by people to buy from. Or to, you know, be seen or heard from. I need you to hear this today. Nobody decided those things but you. There's no committee that was sitting around and voted and said, you know what? She uh she needs to be ruled out. This is not like sorority rush, where we're like, nope, she's not voted in. This is not like Survivor, where you're getting voted off the island. That doubt is in your head. It's not real data. It's not real numbers. You're not basing it off anything, but your own insecurities. It's just fear. I'll tell you this right now. Fear is the worst business advisor you could ever have. You do not want the fear person on your board of directors. But you do allow that, don't you? You let all these thoughts get in your head. My friend, today, I'm so glad you're here because this is

Tools Are Easy Now You Matter

what I want to say. Yes, anyone can build a website now and anyone can build a beautiful one. In fact, I'm working on Shopify right now. You'll know this because I have something coming very soon, which I'll be announcing. Anyone can create a product. Y'all, it's not hard. You can print shirts online, you can buy wholesale, you can make something, you can launch a course, you can offer a service, you can start a neighborhood business doing something that helps people. I've seen the lady that did the business, I think it's in Fort Worth or Dallas, where she just does pumpkin, she's like a porch pumpkin lady and sets up pumpkins all beautifully on people's porches. Everything is easier than it's ever been for everyone. And you know what it means? It means that the tools and all those things stopped being the advantage. Nobody can out-website you anymore because I think there's templates and easy ways. Shopify is amazing. It was amazing. Gosh, 15 years ago, I think, when I switched over to Shopify, it maybe not even that long ago, some right around that time. It is blowing my mind when I'm logged back in. I'm like, this is so much easier. Y'all, every no one can out, no one can out website you. Everyone can have a beautiful website. You can too. The the only thing that's really left separating people in this world, business owners, is you. And there is no version of you on the shelf next to you. You're not competing against you. Nobody else has your story. Nobody else walked through what you've walked through, what you've learned. Nobody else was given the gifts by God that you have been given. No one else has learned it the hard way like you have, and come out with your exact way of seeing things and saying things and caring about what you offer. No one can replicate that. That combination has never existed before and it will never exist again. Well, that's not a pep talk. That's just math. There is not an exact replica of you sitting there competing against you. So the woman that you're comparing yourself to, I want you to know, out in this world, almost every business I know owner I know, no matter what you're selling, has doubted herself too. But she did it anyway. That's the entire difference between you and her. Not talent, not specialness. She moved while doubting. And you've been waiting for the doubt to leave first. It doesn't leave first, y'all. It leaves later. And somebody out there, some person that you have envisioned serving, maybe it's an adult, maybe it's a child, maybe it's families, is a real person. And that person or people need what you have delivered the way only you can deliver it. They're not waiting for a more qualified version of you. They need you now. Someone is waiting for you, and every day you stay hidden because you don't feel ready. And then that other person stays stuck to you playing small isn't about being humble, it's keeping your gift from the person that it was placed in you for. Does that

One Small Step Out Of Hiding

make sense? Like it's keeping you from helping the people that God intended you to serve. So as I wrap this up, this is what I want you to do today. Not next month, when you feel ready. I'm talking today, right now. Take one little step out of hiding, just a tiny step. Post the thing, send the email, say what you think, look up something, ask Chat GBT, watch a video, text your neighbor, ask someone you know who's in this field, do something. Show your face. Let it be imperfect. Because imperfect and out there doing something beats perfect and invisible every single time. You're not too late. You're not too ordinary. You're not just somebody else. My friend, you're just getting started. Get yourself moving. Do something right now. I know you can. I'm so excited for you. I'm so happy you're here. I just wanted to speak life into you today, and I hope this did that. I think you all are amazing. I look up to all of you so much for what you're doing, even though you're scared or insecure.
